"Zhipin has been established for 24 years and is the oldest group of Taiwanese enterprises in Mawei, but now we have become'state-owned enterprises'." Talking to reporters is Li Yiting, a "post-80s" and "second-generation enterprise" from Taiwan. She came to Mawei from Canada in 2012 to take over her father's baton and is now the general manager of Zhipin (Fuzhou) Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. In the past few months, Li Yiting was very busy. "We got in touch with a Chongqing enterprise through the small town of Mawei Foundation, which is expected to enter the municipal project market outside the province." Li Yiting said as she opened the enterprise website, "intelligent building", "intelligent energy saving", "intelligent park" and other key words came into the eyes of reporters. Zhipin is an enterprise engaged in building system integration platform construction. In recent years, it has successfully upgraded to "smart enterprise" by taking the Mawei Internet of Things development express and achieved gratifying social and economic benefits. In 1994, Zhipin Company, as a supporting manufacturer of China Film Management, settled in Mawei, Fuzhou, which is also the first national-level development zone since the reform and opening up - Fuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. In the early 1990s, Ma Wei's reform and opening up had just begun. Taiwan enterprises such as Zhonghua Yingguan and Zhipin occupied half of Ma Wei's industry. "In the first more than 10 years, the life of Taiwan enterprises is very good." Li Yiting often hears his father's mention of that time. "At that time, the mainland's enterprises and markets were not very mature, Zhipin Fujian Province is the first equipment manufacturing high-tech environmental protection equipment and its installation of supporting projects and contractual engineering qualifications of enterprises, with more advanced ideas and management, which has become our Taiwanese enterprises'greatest advantage. At that time, our customers were also Taiwanese capital and foreign-funded enterprises. From the early 1990s to 2000, Zhipin's two most important customers were China Reflector and China Automobile, both of which came from Taiwan and accounted for most of Zhipin's sales orders. Over the past decade or so, reform and opening up meant higher revenue, a huge blue sea market, and a relatively small operating pressure for aspirants. By 2005, however, things had changed. Many local businesses in the mainland market have grown up and are competitive. "There are some of our supporting manufacturers now become our competitors, market demand has shifted." Li Yiting introduced. During this period, Zhi products entered the business dilemma, and development stagnated. Especially after the 2008 financial crisis, the cost of various factors of production in the mainland market has increased, the profits of Taiwan enterprises have become thinner and thinner, and the pressure of operation has become greater and greater. In order to cope with the financial crisis, the government led a new round of industrial technology upgrading on the stage of history. At that time, Fuzhou launched a series of policies to support enterprise development to help Taiwan enterprises tide over difficulties. But transformation and upgrading are not so easy for such old enterprises as Zhi pin. "Without the injection of fresh blood, it is difficult to change the business philosophy of the enterprise." Li Yiting thinks. In recent years, reform and opening up have meant pain in development and speculation in transformation. In 2012, Lee's father, who had been running the company for many years, recalled her from Canada and worked together with her younger generation. Zhipin began to focus on smart cities and the Internet of Things industry, but at this time, the mainland market has not yet sprung up the concept of smart cities. In order to better approach the mainland market, the shareholding structure reform of state-owned enterprises has also been put on the agenda. "The decision of shareholders is very wise." Li recalled that at the end of 2013, Fujian Electronic Information Group and Taiwan China Telecom jointly injected capital products, accounting for 51% of the shares. At that time, Zhi products were transformed from pure Taiwan enterprises into "state-owned enterprises". In the next few years, Fuzhou vigorously developed the Internet of Things industry, and Mawei became the most potential industrial cluster of the Internet of Things in Fujian. In just a few years, the industrial scale has reached tens of billions of yuan. The country's first narrow-band Internet of Things open laboratory, the country's first pilot intelligent water project, China (Fuzhou) Internet of Things industry incubation center and a number of Internet of Things projects have landed in Mawei. Li Yiting was very thankful: "we chose horsetail." With the background of state-owned enterprises, the hard power of old Taiwanese enterprises and the introduction of new ideas such as Smart City, Zhipin has stepped up a new stage of development. In 2015, Zhipin's revenue reached 230 million yuan; in 2016, the "Smart Factory" business took a number of large orders, revenue amounted to 350 million yuan; in 2017, revenue of 430 million yuan. In the past decades of reform and opening up, China's economy has undergone tremendous changes, and it has also helped us grow together. In the future, we will continue to take root in horsetail, focus on the mainland market and do business. " Li Yiting is full of confidence.
